Data Sync, Sharing & Bluetooth Help

Having trouble syncing, connecting or sharing your O2 ring data? Find step by step answers here.

Take off the O2 ring.

  1. Open myNarval app, the data sync will initiate an automatic sync.

  2. If automatically sync is not initiated, select “Sync Device” from the myNarval home screen to manually sync.

Note: If measurement time is less than 60 minutes, there will be no data.

This usually means the ring is still connected to another mobile device. Here's how to fix it:

  1. Turn off Bluetooth on any other phone or tablet that may have previously connected to the ring. Force the myNarval app to close on those devices.

  2. Then, on your phone, restart the myNarval app and try connecting again.

Tip

The ring can only connect to one device at a time. Disconnecting from others first will solve most pairing issues.

You can generate a PDF report directly from the app by going to the “Create PDF Report” section and downloading the report. Once downloaded, the PDF can easily be shared with your doctor or dentist to support your consultation.

This can occur if the ring is worn either too loosely or too tightly, preventing the sensor from consistently capturing reliable data. We recommend trying again for another night and ensuring the ring fits snugly but comfortably. If it doesn’t fit well on your thumb, you can try wearing it on your index finger and adjust its position to find the best fit. Make sure it is not loose, as this can lead to inaccurate measurements. Don’t use the middle finger; if the ring is too tight on both the thumb and index finger, you may try the little finger instead.

Yes, rest assured: if the battery runs out during use, your data will still be saved. To avoid any inconvenience, we recommend charging the device before the battery is completely drained. For best performance, please make sure the device is fully charged before each use. This helps ensure everything runs smoothly and your recordings remain fully reliable.

DO NOT PAIR in the system settings of your phone.

Open myNarval app and make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and device’s battery is not out.

This means the Ring is still trying to stay connected to your phone. To turn it off, simply turn off Bluetooth on your phone and close the myNarval app. The O2 Ring will automatically shut down after a short time.
